But still I maintain that it is ugly (just not in the sense of this post). As you said, it is crass, and a bit too realistic at points. At some point, I just get irritated of liking a character (or get to like him) just to see him bumped off (sometimes in the most vicious way possible).

Kind of like "Rome" (HBO series). You flinch, you switch it off, just to go back and see if anybody is fairing OK at all :D</description>
